Hello my name is Megan Benson. I started this blog for the main excuse to journal my adventure to college. I hope this blog becomes a life story and not just a daily journal. I will start off by telling you about myself. I am 18 years old and I graduated from high school June 7th, 2013. I just left to Nebraska this morning (7/6/13) for a family vacaton. I was thinking/talking to myself and figured out that this trip could be the first step in a huge adventure. Why not blog about it? So the very first thing I started thinking about was a name. I had a few good ideas but none of them sounded good until we got to Stateline.. Under "Nebraska" It says the good life. So I wanted to make a name after that I was thinking "Good Old Nebraska" But then my Dad said"Dear Old Nebraska" and my mom started to sing. I asked her "Is that a real song?" She nodded and the name stuck. This blog is going to take a lot of work but Im so excited to get started. The next thing I have to think about is who is going to design my blog.
